In a recent survey of fundamental software packages Investors Chronicle wrote:

"The beauty of this package is its absolute simplicity - a clear 'splash' or initial screen, and an easy-to-use and read update screen telling you what's happened in the market today. You can also carry out more sophisticated drill-downs using its various analysis filters. It's not the most powerful programme out there, but it's brilliant value for money nonetheless."

"InvestorEase is probably the cheapest of the packages on offer, but you get an awful lot for your £9.75 a month. Although there is a utility that allows you to integrate it with MarketEye for real-time feeds, and there's also an intra-day update facility within the main system, InvestorEase is best used for end-of-day prices. It downloads them from the internet, and then throws up a daily update screen, which is a joy to use.

And unlike some of the other programmes, you really can scan through all the market in just a few minutes - its daily update screen is clearly presented. It also allows you to quickly monitor you portfolio and any stockwatch lists, and the charting facility is easy to use and powerful. But if that isn't enough, you can also dig a little deeper. In the 'analysis' section, there's a range of data-mining or stock-screening tools that let you find a specific share using key measures. It doesn't have all the features of ShareScope Gold, but it's got enough for most investors and is much cheaper."
